Bio
My name is Tate Hoisington, I am the Vice President of Operations for Open Loop Energy Inc., headquartered in Safford, Arizona. Open Loop was founded thirty years ago by my parents Charles and Jackie Hoisington. Being “A Mining Partner” is at our core with the focus being servicing and repairing hydraulic and heavy equipment components. Over the years Open Loop has been able to expand to four locations including Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. This footprint has allowed us to support mining not only across the United States but internationally as well.
I was raised in Safford, Arizona and have spent time living in rural communities in Nevada and New Mexico. I am a graduate of New Mexico State University, a private pilot, and hold multiple professional certificates from organizations such as The International Fluid Power Society and Parker Hannifin.
All of this has been possible with the dedication and support of my parents, Charles and Jackie, along with my extremely patient wife Tiffinny. My wife has blessed me with our two children Quintin and Kolby. Together, along with my parents, we raise Maine Anjou cattle to support youth programs such as 4-H and FFA.
It is my honor to have been selected as part of the Arizona Center for Rural Leadership class 30 and I look forward to the adventure.
