Bio
Titus Alexander Blake is a seventh-generation Arizona native and father of 12. Born in Tucson and raised in Safford, he currently resides in Duncan, where he has served as Mayor for 3 years. Alex has over 20 years of management experience in banking, accounting, healthcare, insurance, environmental consulting, and occupational health and safety, spanning both private and government sectors. He also works full-time as a Safety & Health Manager for a Contractor supporting Freeport-McMoran’s Morenci operations.
A U.S. Army Reserve, Medical Corps, veteran, Alex served seven years as a Medical Laboratory Specialist with Active Duty deployments supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. He studied International Business & Accounting at BYU-Idaho and holds a Certificate in Clinical Laboratory Science from George Washington University.
Active in his community, Alex volunteers with the American Legion as an Honor Guard Bugler, Team Rubicon as a Region 9 Strike Team Leader, and the Wounded Warrior Project, and previously served as president of Duncan Little League. In his personal time, he enjoys golf, kayaking, paddleboarding, exploring ghost towns, and outdoor adventures.
Above all, Alex values his family and credits his spouse, Amanda, for her unwavering support in both his personal and civic endeavors.
