Teresa Bailey serves as Vice Mayor on the Pima Town Council in Pima, Arizona, a community where she has deep roots and a strong personal connection. As her hometown continues to experience significant growth, Teresa remains committed to thoughtful, community-focused leadership and long-term planning.
Beyond her civic responsibilities, Teresa is actively engaged in a range of professional and community organizations. She recently served as President of the Arizona Association of Institutional Research (AzAIR), is a member of the GFWC Women’s Club of Safford, and serves on the Grant Review Committee for United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties. She is also an alumna of Gila Valley Leadership (Class XIII) and a member of Arizona Women Leading Government (AZ WLG).
Teresa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management from Arizona State University and a Master of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University, along with a Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Drawing on her professional background, she has successfully managed several local businesses in previous years. She currently serves as Associate Director in the Institutional Research Department at Eastern Arizona College, where she applies her expertise in data-informed decision-making, strategic planning, and organizational effectiveness.
