This work will involve light to medium labor. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing suitable for physical outdoor work. Gloves and tools will be provided. Helpers will need to bring their own water bottles and sun protection. Please note: the food forest is located on uneven terrain with natural trails, and it borders National Forest, so it's important to be aware of your surroundings and proceed with caution. There is a chance of encountering local wildlife. If you stay until Sunday, there is an opportunity to work this service project with Mike Montiel. Please let Mike know if you are interested in working on Sunday.
